Worship virtually and reflect on the Lord’s Passion and Death at our Good Friday service, streamed live on Friday, April 2 at 12:30 p.m. The service will later be uploaded to YouTube.
We follow the order of service and liturgy found in The Book of Common Prayer and The Book of Occasional Services, which in addition to the rite of the Eucharist incorporates prayers, music, and a sermon. Musical selections include the Passion chanted with plainsong, Byrd’s Adoramus te, Christe, and Psalm 22 with fauxbourdons by Joseph Kucharski.
Cathedral musicians Daniel Koplitz and Lee Erickson are joined by mezzo-soprano Jennifer Jakubowski.
