The Very Reverend Steven A. Peay, PhD, FBS is the Associate Dean and Canon Residentiary at All Saints’ Cathedral. Steve joined the Cathedral staff in 2018 after serving as Professor of Homiletics and Church History and Dean-President at Nashotah House Theological Seminary. (He is now the Dean-President Emeritus.) A Church historian, with a specialization in the history of preaching and the American Church, his work at All Saints’ focuses on spiritual formation. He began his journey into ministry as a Benedictine monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey. After 18 years in monastic life his journey took him in several directions before he found his way to Nashotah House and now All Saints’. He is married to Julie and has two adult stepsons. All things historical interest him, especially academical dress (he’s a fellow of the Burgon Society, which studies academical dress), liturgics, and music. Steve enjoys a good meal, especially if he’s had a hand in it.
Mr. John Semon is a believer in Christ who cleans and maintains All Saints’ Cathedral as well as Lakeshore Church. His skills include plumbing, electrical and steam work, carpentry, and masonry repairs. He enjoys reading, bicycling, swimming, hiking, and visiting up north.
