Holy Eucharist

Worship virtually at our morning Holy Eucharist service, streamed each Sunday at 8:45 a.m.

From the Greek 'eucharistia' meaning 'thanksgiving,' this service is centered around participation in the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion or the Lord's Supper, where we eat a piece of bread, representing Christ's body, and drink a small amount of wine, representing Christ's blood. By eating and drinking the bread and wine, we commemorate Christ's 'Last Supper' and are reminded of his death on the cross.

We follow the order of service and liturgy found in The Book of Common Prayer, which in addition to the rite of the Eucharist incorporates prayers, music, and a sermon.
