The Christian church around the world will mark the beginning of Lent on Wednesday, February 17. The Liturgy for Ash Wednesday will be live-streamed that day from All Saints’ at 11:00 a.m.
The traditional imposition of ashes and Holy Communion will be offered in a COVID–19-safe manner to anyone who wishes to receive. The Dean will be offering two choices. Those wishing to receive can come into the cathedral and meet him at the communion rail. If you aren't comfortable coming into the building, the Dean will also bring ashes and Holy Communion to you in your car.
In order to accommodate everyone safely, the following guidelines must be followed:
All participants must wear a snug-fitting face mask, either in the church or in their vehicle.
Communion will be offered as the host.
Per the current diocesan guidelines, no more than 5 people may be present in the church at one time. In order to facilitate safe spacing for everyone, please call or email the Dean with a preferred time on Ash Wednesday between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Dean will then contact you to set up an exact time.
If you have any questions, or if you wish to set up a time, you may reach Dean Carroll at (414) 651-5585 or by email here. You may also leave a message on his voicemail at (414) 271-7719.
