In 1980-1981 I use to visit the cathedral quite a bit for worship and when you had Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. This was my first experience of Anglo-Catholic worship at that time I was canidate for entering the Franciscan Order in the Roman Catholic Church. I remember when Lord Michael Ramsey the former Archbishop of Canterbury came to visit your Cathedral in those days. I left the order many years ago and on Whitsunday of 2000 I was recieved into the Episcopal Church as a member of the Anglican Communion and am still a great lover of Anglo-Catholic worship. I will be visiting Milwaukee in October with a friend of mine from Michigan (I'm a Michiganian also) and want to worship again at your Cathedral. Looking forward to coming again. Visiting your site brought back many happy memories of wonderful times at All Saints -- back in the days of Dean Stubb, and Bishop Charles Gaskell. I remember picnics on "Lady Day" (August 15th), and the many beautiful liturgical celebrations.

Thrilled to find your site. My father George Stoeckmann began serving at All Saints in the 1920's at the ripe old age of 4 or 5, as boat bearer, acolyte, etc. and played organ there also, until shortly before I was born in 1952 when they moved out to West Allis. If I recall correctly, I was baptized there in 1954. If you still have the wall list of acolytes, you should find his name on it. His father before him also served. He has many fond memories, I plan to show him your site (though he is nearly 87 and mostly blind now). If anyone out there remembers him, I'll relay your greetings!

Dear Cathedral Church of All Saints,
Acts 1:8 Ministry (www.acts18.org) was founded on November 20th, 2002 and has grown into an international ministry touching hundreds of thousands of lives each year with the love of Christ.
Why Acts 1:8 Ministry - The Bible commands us through the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) to share the gospel. Acts 1:8 Ministry offers a Free program that allows everyone in your church, business or ministry to share the Gospel in a non-threatening way. One of the reasons this is a great outreach: People will ask you - "Why are you doing this?" Your answer is that we are showing you God's Love in a practical way. This will also open the door to sharing the Gospel with more people in your community.

Vision of Acts 1:8 Ministry - To equip Christians with an outreach program and consulting in every city, state and country to create a culture for sharing the love of Christ worldwide through Planned Acts of Christian Kindness (P.A.C.K.).

Acts 1:8 Bible Verse - "When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth".

Please explore our Web site (www.acts18.org) to learn more about our ministry or contact us at (920) 494-2289.

Sharing Christ's Love,

Jeff Van Beaver
President

Good website. I"ve been surfing some Anglo-Catholic churches around the country. My parish is All Saints Beverly Hills, a eucharist-centered parish with excellent music, but not really an Anglo-Catholic one. I'm moving back to Northern Cal., where Orinda is, but am not fully relocated. Attend Grace Cathedral in SF, also Advent of Christ the King in SF, one of several true Anglo-
Catholic parishes in the area. Hope to visit All Saints Milwaukee some day. Thanks.

I have moved away to Ohio but will be returning to Milwaukee some time in between March and August (not sure yet about where to get an apartment).

From the bottom of my heart, I want to express how much I have missed A.S. Cathedral. I have missed the beauty of the building itself, the tradition of the occasional evening services, and the focus on DAILY worship.

A.S. Cathedral really makes a love of God seem important, rather than just "what we do on Sunday mornings".

I truly can not wait until the day I start a new life once more in good old Milwaukee. I've had the many parishioners who extended a warm hand to me in my thoughts and prayers, and look forward to seeing everybody again.

Dear folks:

After our recent attendance of two Solemn Choral Eucherists, there aren't any categories of these wonderful experiances that my wife or I found to be less than impressive. The facility, the music, Dean Hillman's impactful sermons, and probably the most friendly and outgoing parish that we have met to date made our visits most memorable and Holy.

I would encourage all Episcopalians to spend a Sunday at All Saints, and in doing so, become (re)aquainted with the absolute beauty and spirituality of our Anglo-Catholic heritage.

God's peace to all.

Greetings from Florida,
I'm new to the web and computor use, but I've been having a great time exploring the Anglican Communion and our various religious orders world wide. Sort of armchir traveling.
Your web site is Wonderful!! The pictures especially remind me of the many diocesian festive Eucharists I attended, processions around the block, devotions and ice cream socials in the garden. Good memories to savor.
I now own a little craftsman bungalow in St. Petersburg and sing in the choir of The Cathedral of St. Peter -about 150 years old. I wish our web site looked as good as yours!
Miriam Stauff is right, you could expand the photes and information and create a lovely book, but include the windows of the 4 archangels, and up close pictures of the small upper windows in the ceiling/roof? with all the Celtic and Anglosaxon Saints - I always looked for Hilda.
Keep sharing the faith - and keep warm!

Please allow me to use this vehicle as a means to say a very warm and heartfelt "Thank-you" to all of you in the Cathedral Community for making my installation as Archdeacon a truly memorable event. I am so pleased that I was able to share this special day with my friend Canon Kucharski. The music was outstanding.

From my first "Cathedral experience" in 1948, to my ordination at the Cathedral in 1983, to my installation yesterday and all of the many liturgies in between, I have always felt warmly welcomed, abley assisted, and validated in my ministry by all in your community.

May God continue to bless you in your ministry ! Tom \

What an outstanding web tribute to the Cathedral, Ted. You have created a masterpiece. I represent All Saints' on several Boards and Councils, and as such I am asked regularly in turn to report parish activities. Until now, I have been upstaged by my peers, who often file glowing reports of their developing web sites. The new era begins. Soon, I will deliver news of your triumph to those attending the next meeting of these(bear with me as I itemize them here)four organizations:
- The Metropolitan Deanery (with Pat Nakamura and Fr. Hillman),
- The Interchange Board (with Trudy Stimmel and Brother Antoine),
- The Diocesan Executive Council (with Fr. Hillman), and
- The Wisconsin Episcopal Conference (with Jane Lukens-Russo).
As you can see, the Cathedral has representation far and wide, and I know there are many other affiliations. Just the mention of your newly redesigned site at these groups' events will spark even greater interest in our parish, and should help to expand the already huge hit count well beyond its current 800 plus level.
